The project “Innovative Rehabilitation Education - Introduction of new master degree programs in Ukraine 2018-2021” was initiated in TNMU
Within European Union Programme Erasmus+2018-2021, Innovative Rehabilitation Education – Introduction of a new master’s degree program in Ukraine 2018-2021, a cooperation agreement between I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University and the Pilsudski Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw (AWF) for the period of September 2019 - September 2024 was signed. The contract on behalf of the AWF was signed by the Rector, Professor Andrzej Mashtalar, on behalf of TNMU – by the Rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda.
The agreement provides for scientists and teachers exchange aimed at mutual review sessions, lectures, training sessions as well as implementation of research projects, organization of conferences, symposia and academic seminars involving both universities; exchange of student groups; exchange of sports groups for Ukrainian-Polish competitions; exchange of information as well as joint publications on Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and rehabilitation.
Within the programme, A.V. Rutska, the Professor Assistant of the Department of Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy and Physical Education, completes an ergotherapy training in November 2019.
References. AWF is an educational institution with a 90-year history and classical European educational traditions. The academy comprises the Faculty of Rehabilitation, the Faculty of Physical Education, the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation. Over 4 500 students are enrolled here, and 369 teachers provide training for them.
