TDMU Delegation Participated in a Training Seminar for Erasmus+ Winners
Representatives of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University: Vice-Rector for Science and Education, Professor Arkadii Shulhai, Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Social Affairs Oleh Slabyi, Deputy Rector for Economic Issues Olesia Chlek, Head Accountant Tetiana Mudryk took part in the training seminar for the winners of the Competition in 2018 “Higher Education Capacity Building on Grant Implementation and Management”. The event took place on November 6, 2018 within the EU Erasmus+ Information Week, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine together with the Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine, the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisuals and Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in close cooperation with the Erasmus+ European Agencies, the National Erasmus+ Partner Offices, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
Frederic Kune (First Secretary, Head of Regional and Local Development, Social Policy, Culture and Civil Society, Delegation of the European Union in Ukraine) welcomed the participants of the seminar, as well as Oleg Sharov (Director General of the Directorate of Higher Education and Adult Education, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).
- The following matters were presented at the seminar:
• Collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the expected results, dissemination, use of project results and impact.
• Capacity building projects - use of grant funds.
• Management and reporting for Ukrainian universities.
• National legislation on quality assurance in higher education.
• Project monitoring.
• State registration of projects.
• National project implementation. Higher education modernization.
International Information Week of the Erasmus+ EU Program
November 5-9, 2018, Kyiv
This year I.Horbachevsky Ternopil State Medical University won the Erasmus+ competition with the project “Innovative rehabilitation education - introduction of new master's programs in Ukraine” within the consortium of universities. This project is one of five winners in Ukraine. In total, 98 Ukrainian projects were admitted to the competition.

The consortium consists of the universities of Latvia, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, the European Federation of Adaptive Physical Activity and Ukrainian partners, including the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, the Testing Center at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ternopil State Medical University, Lviv State University of Physical Culture, Sumy State University.
Associated partners of the project are the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Union of ATO Disabled Veterans NGO. The project is aimed at development of effective new master’s degree programs in Physical Therapy, Ergotherapy. The project duration is 3 years. It is very important by virtue of the latest reforms in medical rehabilitation in Ukraine.
